This is an opportunity for runners of all abilities and active families to enjoy a run in the Forest before the end of the summer, and help good causes in the process. The event is organised by the Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean to support Rotary charities.

5 km run - starts 10:15am

The 5 km run is open to runners of all ages
Entry: £5 by post, or £7 on day of race (assuming race not oversubscribed)
Under 16s must have permission from their parent or guardian

Advance entries to be received by Tuesday, 21 Sept.

10 km run - starts 10:30am

The 10 km run is open to runners of 16 years or over
Entry: £10 by post, or £13 on day of race (assuming race not oversubscribed)

These runs will use an off-road circular course on firm forest tracks. The tracks are mostly compacted gravel and as such suitable for running in trainers. There are some steady climbs and descents around the circuits. The route will be well signed and will have marshalls throughout the course.

Prizes

These runs are intended to be fun runs and although there will be no formal prizes, there will be souvenirs for each finisher.
